After a long and desperate struggle, Gajendra understood that only the Supreme Lord could save him. With deep surrender, he called out for the mercy of the Lord. This sacred pastime teaches children that material strength alone is not enough, and that true shelter is found in sincere prayer to the Supreme Lord.
